            • If "No" is selected:

              First, apply to become a Social Enterprise Member of Social Enterprise Australia by completing this form. 

              Next, save this unique link and return to it later to complete your verification with People and Planet First. Your membership application fee covers the cost. When you access the link, you'll be prompted to: 

              1. Create a public profile on the Good Market website. Good Market is the independent platform that manages the verification process. This step will take about 30-60 minutes.
                Make sure to check the box for People and Planet First verification on the last page of the form.
              2. Complete the People and Planet First verification form. Go to your account page on Good Market, open the verification form and answer questions for each of the five standards. Keep answers direct and aligned with the standards. You must score a minimum of 1 out of 5 for each question to be verified. This step will take 2 hours to complete.
                You will need access to financial, business and governance information about your organisation.

              Your application will then be assessed. Local verifiers (state and territory social enterprise peak bodies in Australia) will review your application and support you through the process.

            • Location

            • Reciprocal membership

              Reciprocal membership lets social enterprises apply to join Social Enterprise Australia and their relevant state or territory social enterprise peak body at the same time, at no extra cost. The latter is based on your organisation’s registered address.

              You can also choose to join other participating peak bodies at 50% of the membership fee for each additional organisation, without needing to complete another application form.

              At this stage, reciprocal membership is available in Queensland, Victoria, Tasmania and the Northern Territory.

            • Each of the above bodies will contact you directly and issue an invoice to complete your membership if approved.

              • You are applying to become a Social Enterprise Member of Social Enterprise Australia.
              • You have read and agree to follow SEA’s Member Code of Conduct.
              • You accept SEA’s Privacy Policy and understand that your information will be used to assess and manage your membership.
              • If your organisation is headquartered in Victoria, Queensland, the Northern Territory or Tasmania, you are also applying to join your state or territory peak (Social Enterprise Network of Victoria, Queensland Social Enterprise Council, Impact North, or the Social Enterprise Collective of Tasmania). Information from this application form will be shared with the relevant peak bodies and managed according to their governing documents and policies.
